October Zanzibar holiday with 11 days safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti & Zanzibar

Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer (01 October)

Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Arusha.

Overnight: Four Points by Sheraton

Day 2 – Arusha – Tarangire National Park (02 October)

Morning breakfast, then drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive among baobab trees, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopards, warthogs, ostriches, and abundant birdlife. Picnic lunch at a scenic site overlooking the Tarangire River. Continue game drive before heading to your lodge.

Overnight: Tarangire Osupuko Lodge or similar

Day 3 – Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater (03 October)

Morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full–day tour of this spectacular caldera. Spot rhinos, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, warthogs, and diverse birdlife. Visit the hippo pool. Picnic lunch in the crater. Evening transfer to your lodge.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge

Day 4 – Ngorongoro – Central Serengeti (04 October)

After breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti. Game drive en route, with sightings of elephants, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, giraffes, dik–dik, and buffalo. Picnic lunch and afternoon game drive before heading to camp.

Overnight: Mawe Tented Camp

Day 5 – Central Serengeti – North Serengeti (05 October)

Morning breakfast, then continue game drive as you head north. Visit the Mara River area to witness the great wildebeest migration (seasonal). Picnic lunch en route and afternoon safari before reaching camp.

Overnight: Kenzan Migration Camp

Day 6 – Northern Serengeti (06 October)

Full–day game drive in Northern Serengeti, following the migration and searching for predators. Picnic lunch in the bush. Continue exploring the Mara River region.

Day 7 – Northern – Central Serengeti (07 October)

After breakfast, depart for Central Serengeti with game drives en route. Spot elephants, lions, wildebeest, giraffes, and buffalo. Picnic lunch and afternoon safari. Evening at lodge.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 8 – Serengeti – Zanzibar (08 October)

Breakfast, then transfer to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 & 10 – Zanzibar (09 & 10 October)

Two full days to relax on the beach or enjoy optional activities such as spice tours, Stone Town exploration, dolphin watching, or diving.

Morning breakfast. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for your departure.
