Itinerary
Day 1 – 23rd August: Nairobi → Maasai Mara
Morning: Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your guide for a safari briefing, then depart for Maasai Mara.
Afternoon: Lunch at the lodge. Extended game drive from 15:30–18:30, spotting Big Five and witnessing open savannah beauty.
Overnight: Mara Sarova Camp
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Distance: 300 km / 5 hours
Day 2 – 24th August: Maasai Mara Full Day
Morning: Early breakfast at 06:00. Full‑day game drive 07:00–16:00 with picnic lunch, visiting the Mara River for the wildebeest crossing.
Evening: Relax at the camp after a day of wildlife encounters.
Overnight: Mara Sarova Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3 – 25th August: Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru
Morning: Breakfast at 06:00, depart at 07:00 for Lake Nakuru.
Afternoon: Lunch at the lodge, then game drive from 15:30–18:30 to see flamingos, pelicans, giraffes, and rhinos.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge
Distance: 280 km / 4 hours
Day 4 – 26th August: Lake Nakuru → Lake Bogoria → Lake Naivasha
Morning: Breakfast, drive to Lake Bogoria to see flamingos, hot springs, and dramatic Rift Valley scenery.
Afternoon: Continue to Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
Distance: 80 km / 1 hour
Please note the distance from Lake Nakuru to Lake Bogoria is actually around 84 Kilometers which is a 1 to 2 hours drive while the distance from Lake Bogoria to Lake Naivasha is around 160 Kilometers which is a 4 hours drive..
Day 5 – 27th August: Lake Naivasha → Amboseli
Morning: Boat ride on Lake Naivasha, walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes, zebras, hippos, and birdlife.
Afternoon: Depart for Amboseli, arrive for game drive 15:30–18:30 with Mt. Kilimanjaro views.
Overnight: Oltukai Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Distance: 250 km / 4 hours
Day 6 – 28th August: Amboseli Full Day
Morning: Game drive 06:00–10:00 with packed breakfast, viewing elephants, lions, and more.
Afternoon: Lunch at lodge, followed by another game drive 15:30–18:30.
Overnight: Oltukai Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 7 – 29th August: Amboseli → Nairobi
Morning: Early game drive 06:30–10:00, breakfast at lodge.
Afternoon: Depart for Nairobi, transfer to airport for flight home.
Meals: Breakfast

The safari was excellent, but Lake Naivasha was a little too busy with tourists. Still, the wildlife viewing made up for it, and the accommodations were solid.
