10 Days Ol Pajeta (Mount Kenya), Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha & Amboseli Honeymoon Tour in January

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi – Ol Pajeta (Mount Kenya)

Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Nairobi hotel for a short safari briefing. Drive north past lush pineapple, coffee and tea plantations to Ol Pajeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary. The 90,000-acre conservancy is home to the Big Five, Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, cheetah and chimpanzee, with views of Mount Kenya.

Overnight: Sweetwaters Tented Camp

Day 2: Ol Pajeta (Mount Kenya)

Full day game drives at Ol Pajeta following big cats and rhinos. Optional activities include nature walks, visiting the Northern white rhino or night game drives.

Day 3: Ol Pajeta – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast drive past Aberdare Mountains, stop at the Equator and Thomson’s Falls, then continue to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive to spot flamingos, pelicans, Rothschild giraffe, rhinos, buffaloes and zebras.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

Depart after breakfast for Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier reserve famous for the Big Five and the Great Migration. Afternoon game drive across open savannahs and big skies.

Day 5 & 6: Maasai Mara Full Days

Two full days of game drives in Maasai Mara. Explore the Mara River and follow the wildebeest migration (seasonal). The reserve hosts lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes and abundant plains game.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon 1-hour boat ride to see hippos and rich birdlife.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli

Drive to Amboseli via Nairobi, arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, with spectacular views and abundant wildlife including elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos and buffalo.

Overnight: Amboseli Serena Lodge

Day 9: Amboseli

Full day game drives in Amboseli with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spot elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and wildebeests.

Overnight: Amboseli Serena Lodge

Day 10: Amboseli – Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Transfer to hotel or airport for departure.
