I hope this message finds you well. My name is Sally, and I am planning a customized private safari trip to Kenya with one friend. At the moment, there will be 2 confirmed travelers from China. However, some friends may join us later, so the final group size may be 4 or 6 people.

We will arrive at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on June 9th, 2026.

We would like to visit Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. We are looking for a reliable local safari agency to help us arrange a comfortable and well-organized private safari trip, including airport transfers, accommodation, a professional driver-guide, and a private 4×4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle.

Based on our destinations, our preferred route is:

Nairobi Airport → Amboseli → Lake Naivasha → Lake Nakuru → Maasai Mara → Nairobi Airport

Since we arrive in Nairobi early in the morning, we prefer not to stay overnight in Nairobi on the arrival day. If the timing and road conditions are suitable, we would like to be picked up directly from the airport and drive to Amboseli National Park. However, please let us know if you think this is not recommended for safety, road, or timing reasons.

Our tentative itinerary is as follows:

Day 1

Arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Airport pick-up and drive directly to Amboseli National Park. Check in at the lodge and rest. Afternoon game drive if time allows.


Day 2

Amboseli National Park. Full-day game drive. We would like to see Mount Kilimanjaro and elephant herds if the weather and wildlife conditions allow.


Day 3

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha. Morning game drive if time allows, then drive to Lake Naivasha. Check in and rest after arrival.


Day 4

Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru. We would like to include one suitable activity around Lake Naivasha, such as a boat safari, Crescent Island, or Hell’s Gate, depending on your advice. After that, drive to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive if time allows.


Day 5

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara. Morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, then drive to Maasai Mara. Check in at the lodge or camp. Afternoon or evening game drive if time allows.


Day 6

Maasai Mara. Full-day game drive.


Day 7

Maasai Mara. Full-day game drive. We are also interested in arranging a legal and safe night safari / night game drive if possible.


Day 8

Maasai Mara. Full-day game drive. Please help us adjust the game drive route according to the best seasonal wildlife viewing areas.


Day 9

Maasai Mara to Nairobi. Drive back to Nairobi. Depending on the arrival time, we may simply rest at the hotel or have a very light city arrangement. Please advise.


Day 10

Nairobi airport transfer for international departure.


Our core requirements are as follows:

Transportation

We would like a private 4×4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle, not a van.

The vehicle should preferably include a pop-up roof, individual window seats, air conditioning, charging ports, and enough space for photography equipment and luggage. A refrigerated drinks compartment would also be appreciated if available.


Driver-guide

Please arrange an experienced English-speaking driver-guide.

We would prefer a guide with at least 5 years of safari field experience, strong wildlife tracking and behavioral prediction skills, good knowledge of photography vantage points, and the ability to explain animal behavior, ecosystems, and safari stories. Basic Chinese phrases would be appreciated, but this is not required.


Accommodation

We prefer lodges or camps located inside or close to national parks, reserves, or conservancies, in order to reduce daily travel time.

For Amboseli, we would prefer rooms or lodges with good views of Mount Kilimanjaro if possible.

For Maasai Mara, we prefer lodges or camps with convenient access to good game drive areas.

We prefer full-board accommodation with all meals included. For 2 travelers, we would prefer one twin room. If the group size becomes 4 or 6 people, please quote based on twin-share rooms.


Please provide 2 to 3 accommodation options for each location, such as budget, mid-range, and luxury options. We are open to your professional recommendations.

Special requests


We do not want to visit Maasai villages or arrange any cultural village visit.

We do not want mandatory shopping stops.

We are interested in a night safari / night game drive, but only if it can be arranged legally and safely. Please advise the best location for this, especially if it requires staying in or near a private conservancy.

We are also interested in early morning game drives, wildlife photography opportunities, and possible night sky / Milky Way viewing if conditions allow.
