I am a solo traveler planning a safari trip to Kenya around May 15–21, 2026. Considering my budget, I am open to joining a small-group (2-6 person) safari. My dates are flexible by about a week before or after, and I am also flexible between a 7-day/6-night and an 8-day/7-night itinerary, depending on the best value and available small-group departures.


Estimated Arrival date: May 15 or May 21 06:30 a.m.
Airport: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
My preferred routing is:
Nairobi → Amboseli → Lake Naivasha → Masai Mara → Nairobi
（2 nights in Lake Naivasha instead of Nakuru）


Preferred itinerary:


I am open to your professional suggestions, but my current preferred plan is as follows:


Day Route / Area Accommodation Preference Notes
Day 1&2 Nairobi → Amboseli (2 nights in Amboseli)
Accommodation: Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar mid-range lodge
Expected arrangement: Airport pickup and transfer to Amboseli, Full-day Amboseli Safari - Elephants and Mount Kilimanjaro views if weather permits (I am planning to arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at around 6:30 AM, so I would prefer to start the safari on the arrival day if feasible.)
Day 3-4 Amboseli → Lake Naivasha (2 nights in Lake Naivasha)
Accommodation: Lake Naivasha Sopa preferred
Expected arrangement: Transfer to Lake Naivasha; Prefer a relaxing day at the lodge.
Day 5-6 Lake Naivasha → Masai Mara (2 nights in Masai Mara)
Accommodation: Mara Sopa Lodge or similar mid-range lodge
Expected arrangement: Full-day safari
Day 7 Masai Mara → Nairobi
Accommodation: N/A
Expected arrangement: Return to Nairobi and airport drop-off

Accommodation, Transportation and guide preferences
Accommodation:
1. My first preference is mid-range accommodation, especially the properties listed above. Could you please confirm the availability of the listed accommodation in advance? After the itinerary is confirmed and the deposit is paid, please do not change the agreed accommodation.
2. A private room is preferred. If a single supplement applies, please clearly state the amount. If the supplement is too high, I am also open to sharing a room with another female traveler, if available. Please quote both options where possible.


Transportation and guide:
1. Small-group safari, maximum 6 people;
2. 4x4 Land Cruiser with pop-up roof is necessary;
3. A English guide with good safari experience would be appreciated;
4. Wildlife photography knowledge would be a plus, but it is not mandatory. If a photography-oriented guide or arrangement costs extra, please quote it separately.


If my requirements are too customized and there is no existing small-group departure that matches them, you may also provide a private tour quotation for this itinerary based on different group sizes, such as 2, or 4 travelers. I may try to find other travelers to join and share the cost.
