Day-By-Day Itinerary Details

Day 1: Drive to Amboseli Nationa Park
Your Kenyan safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel south towards Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic wildlife destinations. As you approach the park, the landscape transforms into open savannahs and acacia-dotted plains, with the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro creating a spectacular backdrop on clear days. After arriving and enjoying lunch, head out for your first exciting game drive in search of elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and your first night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 1 - Drive to Amboseli Nationa Park

Day 2: Full day Amboseli National Park Game drive
Wake up to the beauty of Amboseli and enjoy a full day exploring the park on game drives. Amboseli is particularly famous for its impressive elephant herds, often seen moving across the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the distance. Your safari may also bring you encounters with lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and numerous bird species. With a full day in the park, there will be plenty of opportunities for photography, wildlife viewing, and simply appreciating the extraordinary scenery. After an exciting day in the bush, return to your accommodation for dinner and your second night in Amboseli.

Day 3: Drive to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and continue your journey towards the beautiful Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through Kenya’s countryside before arriving at the freshwater lake. After lunch and some time to relax, afterwards, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos in the water and a variety of birdlife along the shoreline. The peaceful setting provides a wonderful contrast to the excitement of the safari parks. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge and enjoying the spectacular surroundings of Lake Naivasha.
Day 3 - Drive to Lake Naivasha

Day 4: Drive to Lake Nakuru Nationa Park
After breakfast, continue your safari to nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, a beautiful wildlife sanctuary set within the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy a game drive through the park, keeping an eye out for rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Lake Nakuru is also renowned for its rich birdlife and picturesque landscapes, making it an excellent destination for both wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. Explore the park during your game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening. Spend the night near Lake Nakuru, ready for the next stage of your safari.
Day 4 - Drive to Lake Nakuru Nationa Park

Day 5: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and travel towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through Kenya’s scenic countryside and into the vast grasslands of the Mara ecosystem. After arriving and enjoying lunch, set out on your first game drive in the reserve. The Masai Mara is renowned for its incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other species. As the afternoon light spreads across the savannah, enjoy the thrill of your first Mara safari before returning to your lodge for dinner and your first night in this iconic wilderness.
Day 5 - Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve

The reserve is especially famous for its big cats and large herds of plains game, while the Mara River and surrounding grasslands provide an unforgettable setting for wildlife photography. Depending on the season, you may also witness spectacular scenes associated with the Great Migration. Take time to enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive. Return to your accommodation in the evening for your final night in the Masai Mara.
