Set off past the bustling town of Arusha arriving into Tarangire National Park to arrive in time for lunch at your camp. Day 2 – Tarangire.
Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives at Tarangire National Park which is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi and Mkomazi. The national park is located in Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. During the dry season thousands of animals migrate to the Tarangire National Park from Manyara National Park.

Day 3 – Tarangire - Ngorongoro
After breakfast spend the early morning game full day exploring Tarangire National Park, best known for its density of baobab trees and year-round proliferation of elephants. Drier and more densely vegetated than the Serengeti, the parks dominant geographic feature is the near-perennial Tarangire River, which comes into its own in the dry season, July to November, when elephant numbers can be phenomenal boosted by large herds of zebra, wildebeest, antelope and other game attracted to the water source. While herd numbers may be lower in December to March the park is also greener, more scenic and supports astounding birdlife.

Day 4 – Full Day crater.
After breakfast descend down to the floor of crater with picnic lunch boxes. Enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in the expansive views and crater floor 600m below. Photographing the crater is a real challenge. Descend onto the crater floor (pretty much as everyone else is leaving) and enjoy a game drive seeking out the resident wildlife. Exit the crater by sunset and return to your lodge for the night.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro - Ndutu.
After breakfast we will head to the Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife.
We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge or camp, and after lunch we will do an afternoon game drive in the Ndutu area. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game.
Overnight: Ndutu Lodge - ndutu.com
Meals- Full Board.

Day 6 - Full Day Ndutu.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Ndutu area. Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. See great herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short time frame around February, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calve. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young are easy pickings for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.
Overnight: Ndutu Lodge - ndutu.com/ Meals- Full Board.

Day 7 – Ndutu – Serengeti.
After breakfast we head towards the central Serengeti National Park, also known as the Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.
Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge – www.sopalodges.com
Meals- Full Board.

Day 8 & 9 - Full Day Serengeti – Central Serengeti.
Set out early with your guide taking both picnic lunch and a picnic breakfast with you to maximise your game viewing time. The rocky outcrops of the Moru Kopjies area is particularly rewarding for both lion and cheetah sightings and the Seronera River valley ranks among the best places in Africa to search for leopards as there are simply too few tall trees for these normally elusive creatures to be well hidden.

Day 10 – SerengetiLake Manyara.
After breakfast say bye bye to Serengeti and leave for Lake Manyara, driving via Norongoro highlands to arrive in time for lunch at Lake Manyara wildlife camp. In the afternoon explore the park which is famous for the tree climbing lions. Set off westwards from Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park. This wonderfully scenic park, located on the road from Arusha to Ngorongoro, is set between the steep wall of the Great Rift Valley and the soda lake. Known for its famous tree-climbing lions, habituated baboons and elephant populations; Manyara’s lake shores are also inhabited by thousands of pink flamingos (seasonal).
